What's the VIE Forvia Program all about?
The VIE Program of Forvia is an international young graduate program, which enables young graduates native from the European Economic Area (EU + Norway, Liechtenstein and Iceland) aged between 18 and 28 to work for one of our subsidiary around the world!

What is your role and surroundings?
 
Our FIS Europe Division is looking for you as a Safety and Regulation Coordinator Europe VIE for our plant in Mladá Boleslav in Czech Republic.

What will be your main missions?

She/he supports Safety & Regulation (S/R) Manager of Europe Division on all following activities:

  • Contribute actively to reach the division (Europe) and plant targets as in the Total Customer Satisfaction & Quality Strategic Plan 2022-2027 (S&R alerts/S&R audits) 
  • Coach the plant S&R Coordinators, plant team and Quality Managers in S&R topics 
  • Coordinate/perform S&R division Audits and related actions 
  • Participation to the creation/improvement of Forvia Interior Business Group S&R audit checklists 
  • Answer S&R technical and organizational questions to all plant S&R coordinators/others 
  • Participation to the definition or update of standards/Best Practices for all S&R activities, also within other departments 
  • Share with plant S&R coordinators network “Best Practices” identified in each plant 
  • Ensure that new developments are done according to S&R requirements (KCC/KPC lists, CP, FMEA, DVP/PVP, LLS, etc.): perform S&R workshops with program/local Teams 
  • Coordinate the triggering of S&R alerts; ensure their follow-up by validating the 8D method. Support/expertise or even lead to be given if required. Support in case of potential recall together with customer and Forvia 
  • Coach and follow-up S&R Lessons Learned for plants and programs S&R alerts 
  • Lead eventually routine meetings with the plants in her/his perimeter 
  • Scrap reduction due to destructive tests to be driven for plants: 
  • Advice on potential derogations linked to S&R test frequencies 
  • If requested, support Forvia Experts (local, division & business group network) by analyzing alerts, and share
  • Regular reporting on S&R Alerts, S&R audits including Blocking Points, Conformity Of Production (COP) testing, to division
  •  

The mission will last 24 months.

Your profile and competencies to succeed

What you need to join us?

  • Master’s degree in engineering (industrial engineering, mechanical engineering or related), Quality specialization desirable
  • Fluent English mandatory, other languages welcome.
  • Knowledge of automotive industry or similar manufacturing environment
  • Willingness to travel within Europe
  • 2 years of proven experience in the Automotive industry is a plus, (Previous positions such as Plant Quality Engineer, Process Engineer is an advantage…)
  • Proven experience in problem solving, audits, customer contact
  • Proven experience in programs (development)  is a plus

Who are we looking for?

  • Practitioner about Quality tools appreciated: Functional analysis, FMEA, Special Characteristics, reliability, problem solving, variability reduction, etc.
  • Familiar with program management appreciated
  • Good knowledge about Quality System Efficiency, including Auditing experience would be appreciated.
