Your mission, roles and responsibilities

The main missions of the role are:

  • Contribute to Overall Purchasing Performance in the Plant.
  • Ensure the Compliance of all purchasing activities in the Plant with Commodity Strategies
  • Support the plant in trouble shooting activity

Overall responsibilities and duties:

  • Support purchasing budget construction by sizing potential saving for ideas in the pipeline
  • Establish, feed and monitor detailed portfolio for VAVE, MoB and resourcing activities
  • Execute and coordinate actions with stakeholders to reach budget targets
  • Contribute to plant results review with operations, finance, controlling
  • Execute resourcing and Make or Buy in serial life, based on Operation's priorities and Commodity Buyers guidance
  • Manage transfer/resourcing/relocalization activities with suppliers in series.
  • Execute risk mitigation plan defined by commodity
  • Review and monitor weekly purchasing productivity plan
  • Identify and implement all productivity actions (int/ext VAVE) in coordination with Commodity Buyers and relevant functions
  • Define and Coordinate activities with commodity and SQ&D representatives to develop Supplier workshops and value-creation initiatives
  • Support execution of admin actions to be done at plant level

Your profile and competencies to succeed

Education Level: 

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree (Economical or Business)

Experience : 

  • Minimum 2 years experience in strategical/productivity buyer position 

Skills and competencies :

  • Fluent English knowledge (both in oral&written)
  • Strong communication skills, able to convince and influence
  • Good numerical skills
  • SAP experiences
  • Buyer experience from automotive industry is an advantage
