 We are looking for a Digital Energy Efficiency Intern to join our team!

 

Our Group Energy & CO2 Neutrality team is based in company Headquarters in Nanterre (92000).

The internship will take place at the Headquarters. Travel abroad may be required during the course of the mission.

The Intern will be affiliated with the Energy Efficiency & CO2 Neutrality team at Forvia. The various Internship tasks will aim to directly or indirectly contribute to achieving our decarbonization objectives:

  • Carbon Neutrality in scope 1 & 2 by 2025
  • Carbon Neutrality across all scopes by 2045

Your mission, roles and responsibilities

Take over & conclude the standardization of the Energy Monitoring System in Forvia :  

  • How to implement an EMS: Build the procedure for standard EMS, from energy audit & meters selection to visualization of KPIs in our centralized internal digital platform (Palantir Foundry)
  • Execute two (2) pilot sites use case: Connect and expose EMS from different systems onto one Palantir application. Create Dashboards and obtain users validation.
  • Build a benchmarking use case in Palantir, crossing energy meters data with other company data sets available on Palantir (production quantities, economics, etc.)
  • From 2 to 150 sites: Scale out the standard EMS methodology to the rest of the organization (>150sites)
  • Develop: a Digital Monitoring Pilot application to measure and compare Energy / Added Value units of Standard Processes (to compare Laser Welding units, Paint lines efficiency, or Injection machines efficiency, etc.)
  • Lead projects, Present results, Train Users on Methods and Tools.

Your profile and competencies to succeed

Engineering school, IOT technologies and digital solutions specialty, Energy Management is a plus. 

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science or a related field​
  • Strong problem-solving abilities​
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills​
  • Foundational Knowledge of energy management systems​
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is an asset​
  • Familiarity with Palantir Foundry is a plus​
  • Familiarity with Power Apps & BI is a plus
