Your mission, roles and responsibilities

The role of the Data Engineer is responsible for rolling out Data projects as Power Apps, Power BI, Palantir according to Model Plant X.0 and another not developed yet applications in SSED plants. Daily cooperation with division MES/Data tools Specialist, division MES and Data community in order to secure usage tools in plants and their development.

The main missions are to:

Implementation the DT (Digital tools) in the SSED plants: support plant team (key user) during installation, provide all necessary documents and share best practice from other plants. To fix their specific needs and make the link with the Data community. Enrich and update the DT Catalog with clear instructions how to implement the tools.  tool kit, define standard formulars/checklist to help the plant (example: OK 1st part for AGV, HSE checklist, …), transversalize best practices.

• Workshops in the plant: to attend the kickoff and make sure that the detailed planning/action plan/resources are defined. Help with budget and saving calculation. to fix their specific needs and make the link with the group. To bring the methodology to the plants, how to implement DT -> tool kit, procedures

• Contribute on new DT: cooperation with BG, create tool kit for new DT. Participation to workshops to define new concepts and use cases on SSED pilot plants.

• Build and develop custom Apps and Reports: Based on feedback acquired from plants, support at the development of custom tools and reports (Power Apps, Power BI & Palantir Foundry) to support efficiency improvement, to prove the concept and build a standard solution for the remaining plants. 

• Creation of a power platform SSED community: Building a community with the plants’ key users of Power Platform tools. Organizing webinars, training sessions, to empower the local key users and give them autonomy within DT tools

• Control the DT status: Based on the planning approved during the kick-off, the role is to ensure that the planning milestones are reached on time. It includes regular follow up meetings/visits, roadblocks identification and escalation to the plant manager/DT Leader, interface with the GIS and plants DT Key user. Have the overview about roll out DT and their Key users. To ensure that the expected benefits are achieved.

Your profile and competencies to succeed

The ideal candidate will have:

    Manufacturing Engineering with abilities to deploy 4.0 industry tools in automotive.

    Overview about Digitalization tools and 4.0 Industry experiences.

    Project management skills.

    Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI)

    Knowledge on Database management, REST API, MES Systems is an advantage

    Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to work in matrix organization.

    Hands on and result oriented (very pragmatic).

    Fluent in English.
