Your mission, roles and responsibilities
The Engineering Change Coordinator ensures that all engineering changes are accurately entered into SAP, communicated to relevant stakeholders, and implemented on time across PC&L, quality, and production processes. This role acts as a key liaison between internal teams, customers, and suppliers to guarantee smooth transitions and compliance with company standards.
The main missions of the role are to:
- Coordinate customer, internal, and supplier engineering change activities according to plant processes.
- Lead weekly engineering change meetings and ensure timely implementation of changes.
- Manage Bill of Materials (BOMs), scheduling, and material planning for smooth transitions.
- Act as the primary liaison between internal departments, customers, and suppliers while maintaining confidentiality.
- Organize build events and functional trials to validate engineering changes.
- Monitor quality issues related to changes and support FMEA risk reduction.
- Participate in 5S, Hoshin, and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
Your profile and competencies to succeed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- Fluent in English (required).
Experience:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in engineering change coordination, BOM management, or similar roles within the automotive industry.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong organizational and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to train and coach team members.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration mindset.
- International mindset with results orientation, accountability, and transparency.
- Familiarity with SAP and engineering change processes is a plus.
