Your mission, roles and responsibilities

The Plant Material Planner will be responsible for ensuring the alignment of production line delivery with minimum stock targets and optimized logistics costs. This role encompasses procurement planning, supplier performance management, transportation coordination, and packaging compliance, while supporting continuous improvement in supply chain processes.

The main missions of the role are to:

  • Build and monitor the procurement program to ensure material availability for production.
  • Align production line delivery with minimum stock targets and logistics cost objectives.
  • Manage supplier delivery performance and monitor logistics partners’ service levels.
  • Achieve transportation program objectives and ensure compliance with transportation schemes.
  • Direct packaging management and ensure adherence to logistics conventions.
  • Verify sales and production plan capacity requirements to meet customer demand.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in material flow, inventory control, and on-time delivery.
  • Collaborate with production, logistics, and customer service teams to ensure smooth operations.
  • Prepare and analyze material planning reports for management review.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and safety regulations.

Your profile and competencies to succeed

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or related field.
  • Strong understanding of production, supply chain, and logistics processes.
  • Minimum bilingual (English required).

Experience:

  • Experience in production or supply chain within an industrial environment.
  • Knowledge of inventory control, materials management, and customer service.
  • Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
  • Results-oriented with a focus on on-time delivery and cost optimization.
