Your mission, roles and responsibilities
Our Group Information Systems is looking for an SAP Business Analyst Finance & Controlling to be based at our Headquarters in Puebla.
As our FCS Functional FICO Support analyst, you will leverage your direct experience with SAP to support our North American SAP launch schedule, as well as ongoing support of business requirements. A strong prior experience with the Controlling Module (CO) and a supporting experience with the Finance (FI) modules are required to understand and support our global automotive business model.
As an integral part of your responsibilities, you will act as a liaison and interpreter between the business sponsors, Key Users, and the project team. You will work with the global implementation template supported by an European based central team to bring a successful program launch Your experiences with SAP Methodologies will provide you with an opportunity to offer continuous improvement ideas to our project teams, business unit leaders and end users.
This job is an excellent opportunity to implement one's functional skills at the service of a project aiming at the improvement of the processes and the implementations, and thus advantageously to develop a dual competency, technique and functional. Your main mission is to support the SAP system and all corporate solutions focus in projects, 2nd level support, retrofits, continuous improvement and customer care.
With a strong international dimension, this position requires strong functional experience backed with a solid foundation in SAP fundamentals.
The ability to travel in order to meet the project implementation schedule is a requirement. Your team is located in the NAO region (US, Mexico and Canada).
Main missions and results:
- SAP expertise and system implementation:
- Acts as internal SAP expert for these domains in North America:
- Leads the Business Process (FIT) activities of the project.
- Supports Global ERP Domain Leader in developing SAP functional expertise
- Assists in providing user training during launch activities
- Runs functional tests, specifically during sites implementations
- Supports all corporate SAP solutions including integrated applications like ARIBA, CONCUR, EBCS, VIM, TEO, Membraine, etc.
- Performs 2nd level end-user support

- Receives SAP ECC and key integrated applications incidents from the 1st level-support (Helpdesk and L1).
- Documents solutions/results about incidents/demands in the ticket management system
- Provides either remote (phone, remote-control) or on-site support for end user. ie Training etc
- Identifies and escalates problems of the sites through the support chain
- Follows up issue and root cause analysis with the support chain and validation with end user.
- Responsible for Re-Training when necessary
- Supporting the On-Going Post-Assessments
- Functional support on the system
- Writes/maintains functional documentation and specifications for programmers
- Ensures third level support during the project phase
- Tracks bug fixing internally, with the competence center or with editor.

- Support the integration activities for data migration, interfaces and other applications.
Your profile and competencies to succeed
Required Skills
Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology or related field
Experience with 4 Full Life Cycle Implementations (less with multiple rollouts)
Experience with the full project life cycles of the SAP ERP system. scoping, planning, designing, building, testing, and go live
3 years of SAP configuration, launch experience with the Controlling module
3 years of SAP configuration, launch experience in the Finance modules
Versed in SAP methodology
Experience in the automotive industry or at least manufacturing industry is preferred
Good knowledge of SAP structures, configuration standards, object dependencies and tables
Good Business Process knowledge in the areas of Plant Controlling, Project system, Accounts Payable, VIM (Vendor Invoice Management Open Text), Accounts Receivables, General Ledger, Treasury and Fixed Assets
Good organizational skills, analytical and problem solving skills, team player
Experience in project management
Good communication and expression skills in an international environment
International mindset and soft skills.
Able to travel up to 50% primarily in US, Canada and Mexico
Language English Fluent
