Your mission, roles and responsibilities
The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of production equipment through preventive and corrective maintenance activities. This role involves analyzing downtime, managing maintenance programs, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives in line with company standards and quality systems.
The main missions of the role are to:
- Analyze machine and UAP downtime to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Perform labor analysis for Maintenance Technicians to optimize resource allocation.
- Conduct weekly analysis of plant downtime indicators and issue monthly performance reports.
- Develop and manage the Preventive Maintenance (PM) program, including weekly and monthly PM routines.
- Administer PM software and ensure accurate maintenance records.
- Generate and update Standard Maintenance Work Procedures to ensure best practices.
- Coordinate and lead weekly TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) meetings.
- Train personnel on TPM principles and preventive maintenance topics.
- Maintain and troubleshoot extraction systems, hydraulic, pneumatic, and welding equipment.
- Manage spare parts inventory to ensure availability and cost control.
- Support continuous improvement projects to enhance equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
Your profile and competencies to succeed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in the automotive industry.
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and welding equipment maintenance.
- Familiarity with TPM methodologies and industrial maintenance best practices.
- Experience in spare parts inventory management and personnel supervision.
Experience:
- 3 to 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance within an automotive or manufacturing environment.
- Hands-on experience with Siemens and Allen Bradley PLC systems.
- Knowledge of ABB, KUKA, and FANUC robots.
- Understanding of quality systems such as VDA 6.1, IATF 16949, ISO 14001:2015, and ISO 45001:2018.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for root cause analysis and process improvement.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment.
- Excellent organizational and planning skills to manage multiple priorities.
- Good communication and leadership skills for team coordination and training.
- Proficiency in maintenance management software and Microsoft Office tools.
- Knowledge of safety and environmental standards.
