Your mission, roles and responsibilities

Overall responsibilities and duties:

The Vice President of Quality is responsible for the strategic direction and performance of the Program Quality, Operational Quality, Warranty, Safety & Regulatory functions within Seating NAO. This function represents the Voice of the Customer and its specific requirements at the top management level of the organization within its corresponding perimeter of authority. This function is ultimately responsible for all Quality relevant activities and systems to assure prevention actions are in place so that Company related risks are avoided.

Your profile and competencies to succeed

Minimum education level:

• Bachelor’s Degree in in Engineering or related field. (Master’s degree preferred).

Professional Experience: 

• 10 years of professional manufacturing experience (automotive industry preferred).
• Experience with customer relations/management preferred.
• Automotive experience with quality systems and standards preferred, Internal auditor experience preferred. 

Skills and competencies: 

• Business and finance basics
• Knowledge of automotive Quality tools and Quality managements system
• Knowledge of IATF 16949
• Customer specific requirements
• Solid knowledge of Quality in Production
• Process orientation
• Leadership skills
• Communication skills
• English Language fluency required
• Bi-lingual preferred (Spanish and/or French)
